Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the marketplace:
- Account info: email, password (stored as a one-way hash), display name, callsign, country, and the role you signed up under (Builder or Collector).
- Public profile info: anything you choose to add to your Builder profile — bio, portfolio links, specialties, pricing, turnaround, listings.
- Transactional info: orders, commissions, inquiries, and messages between Builders and Collectors. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive the order metadata, not your full card details.
- Operational logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for fraud prevention and security, retained for up to 90 days.
- Consent: the timestamp of your Terms acceptance and your newsletter preference, so we have an auditable record of what you agreed to.
2. What is public vs. private
Your display name, callsign, country, profile copy, portfolio, listings, and reviews are publicly visible on PlaMoHQ. Your email, password, timezone, billing details, message contents, and order history are private to you and the counterparties you transact with.
We never sell your email or use it to silently subscribe you to anything. The newsletter opt-in is off by default and only flips on when you explicitly check it.
3. How we use your info
- To run the marketplace — auth, listings, messaging, orders, payouts.
- To send transactional email (order updates, message notifications, password resets).
- To send the optional Weekly Runner newsletter only if you opted in at sign-up or in your dashboard. You can unsubscribe in one click from any issue.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the platform from fraud and abuse.
4. Who we share with
We share data only with vendors that process it on our behalf — currently Stripe (payments), Supabase (storage), and our transactional email provider — under contracts that bind them to use it only for those services. We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers.
We may disclose data when required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.
5. Your choices
- Edit or delete your profile, listings, and account from your dashboard.
- Newsletter opt-out via the unsubscribe link in every issue or from your dashboard.
- Data export and deletion requests: email privacy@plamohq.com. We respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Children
PlaMoHQ is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
8. Changes to this policy
We'll announce material changes via email and on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
